Kazakhstan Earns Medals at the Asian Pencak Silat Championship

The Kazakhstan national team of 20 athletes achieved solid results:

1 Silver — Aizat Musabek (70 kg, Tanding)

9 Bronze — Aisholpan Amankosova, Sanzhar Tuyakbayev, Diana Yusubova, Regina Traize (2 events), Aknur-Aiym Ismukhanova, Kazbek Akylbekov, Rakhymzhan Orazkulov, and Dias Meiram.

Pencak Silat is a traditional martial art originating from Southeast Asia, now recognized globally.

Association President Gadzhi Shapievich Gadzhiev congratulated the athletes, noting that their success reflects dedication and teamwork, and encouraged them to continue raising Kazakhstan’s flag high at future international events.
